How To Use
- For optimal burning, trim your wick to 5mm before each lighting to avoid smoking and overheating.
- Always protect the surface on which the candle sits by placing it on a heatproof coaster.
- The first burn of any candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquefy. This will ensure an even burn for each light.
- Refrain from burning candles longer than 3 hours at a time, and never burn a candle when there is less than 1cm of wax at the base.
- Never leave a candle burning unattended or within reach of drafts, pets, or small children.
- The candle jar will be hot after burning, so allow the wax to cool completely before handling
- Once the flame is extinguished make sure the wick is upright and centered.

I adore this candle. I have been wanting to try this brand for a while and this is everything I had been looking for. I'd been wanting a "beachy" candle, but not a tropical scent. I wanted a freezing, blustery walk along the coast type scent. This candle delivers. It's fresh, aquatic, "cold", and surprisingly strong. I find these scents can often be really quite weak but I was so impressed. I had it burning for three hours and the scent was flooding the room and the hallway. Definitely on the pricy side but the vessel is gorgeous, the scent throw is incredible. It's just one of those cases of you get what you pay for. The only thing worth mentioning that makes this a four star review is I think the wick could be a bit thicker as I noticed mine struggled to pool even after four hours, so I'll have to keep an eye on that.
Fresh, light scent.
This candle took me back to childhood holidays at the seaside, quite a subtle scent but beautiful and a really relaxing scent. The holder it comes in is beautiful as well. Probably a little more expensive than I would have liked but I decided to treat myself and I'm glad I did, and also the lovely holder will come in handy for tealights etc.
We’ve had a Hav candle in our kitchen constantly for about 3 years now. By far one of the best Skandinavisk scents (although their seasonal Christmas ones are lush too) and probably the most usable in terms of it not really being too season specific.
